Hey friends -
I write to you from the London Heathrow Airport as I wait for my flight back home to Canada after an encouraging two-week sabbatical trip across England and Scotland. I have two more weeks of sabbatical time at home where I’ll be discerning PhD programs, reading, writing, recording the audiobook for my book, The Justice of Jesus, and attending a Coldplay concert (among other things).
Now that things are slowing down and now that we’re heading into the final three months of book launch before my September 30 book launch date, I’d love to invite you to the first-ever Jesus, Justice & Joash Virtual Hangout.
My hope is to host these monthly, hour-long virtual hangouts via Zoom / Google Hangouts as an opportunity to draw closer each other and build community around Jesus and Justice. The work of justice can often feel lonely and isolating; but it doesn’t have to be this way. Think of this as a monthly virtual small group led by me where we have open conversations on all things Jesus and Justice - in addition to any other related or unrelated topics you’d like to chat or ask questions about.
I’ll be keeping these virtual hangouts only to paid subscribers to encourage more intimate conversations where we can go deeper into discussion topics. Think of these as living room small group conversations on Jesus and Justice. And do come with your best questions for myself and our group!
