Isn’t it interesting that we find back to liturgy one way or another? I found the monastic daily prayers. Chanting psalms when your are out of words is such a consoling practice and has often held my soul when I ran out of faith.
Thank you, Joash. My wife and I are going to be sitting down to spend time in prayer over our future here in Oregon (especially as we discern pioneering a ministry in Portland).
These have become challenging and disillusioning times for me. These reflections are giving me a lot to think about, and are redirecting my attention and hope in Jesus, who is the only one who has the power to save.
It was easier to use these verses to tell our Christian neighbors to vote for the good of the community. It's so painful recognizing that we really are in exile again. The temptation to flee the deep work for the community is real.
Thank you Joash. I’m beyond despondent. Just trying to get thru minute by minute.
I hear you, Lynn. Today is a difficult day for so many of us. Know that you're not alone.
Which promises of God have helped you the most during this time?
Thank you
Thank you for reading and engaging, Lisa!
Amen. Even the darkness is light to You.
Amen, Heather.

So thankful to hear that this is helpful, Trent! Thank you for the kind words.

What illusions did you have?

Thank you Joash, for writing this! As I have read this post. As I just finished meditating for about an hour on the scripture and more.
I cannot wait for your book, as I will be preordering multiple copies and championing you as you continue to do the work you are called to do.
This is way too kind, Alan. Thank you!

Absolutely, Hannah. So well articulated.
What good are we missing out on?
If you created 52 of these one for each week I'd pay good money. #ThankYou🥺
Thank you for this feedback and encouragement, Richelle. Truly!
The next four years will provide plenty of inspiration smh
This was gold, thank you so much for sharing, it truly resonates with the sentiments I've been having this week.
